The United Nations Non-Government Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) came out with the Report of the 8th Meeting of
the United Nations and International Organizations Civil Society Focal Points, held on 4-5 October 2010
in Manila, the Philippines. The meeting brought together representatives of multilateral institutions, bilateral
agencies, and civil society organizations good practices and lessons learned on multi-stakeholder involvement
globally, to build a strong community of practice and to enhance development effectiveness. Participants also
identified and discussed challenges in strengthening partnerships with CSOs. ANGOC was among the CSO delegates
to this discussion.
