Neglected Land to Be Redistributed to Indonesia's Farmers

INDONESIA - Indonesia's National Land Registry Agency is ready to distribute 13,000 hectares of neglected land to farmers as part of the government’s agrarian reforms, Jakarta Globe reported on Tuesday. In its website, the newspaper quoted the agency's head Hendarman Supandji who said that in 2012, the agency had mapped 149,000 hectares of neglected land and so far 13,000 hectares had not been challenged.  Read more...
